Essential Oils Suggestions – Heal Something Good

Essential Oils Suggestions

IMG_6522For Topical use, you can put drops on the bottoms of your feet, where the largest pores on your body are, and let your body’s circulatory system decide where it would like the oil to go. Use the Reflexology maps to intentionally place oils where specific organs will feel the most benefit.

You can also put oils where you hurt. Pain is information and trying to tell you something. Maybe just listen to your body. When you place the oil on your skin, with a carrier oil if needed, massaging the oil in for more than just a few seconds means you’re working the oils deeper and through more skin layers. Try a minimum of 60 seconds and remember that longer is better.

You can also wear oils like perfume, or you can swipe them under your nose or on your temples. And for mood oils and blends, the small indentation on either side of the back of your neck is an ideal place because you have a blood-intake there to your brain. It’s right below your hairline on either side of your spine.

For Aromatic use, simply inhaling from the bottle works well. To target a whole room, use a cool diffuser. You can also do an Essential Oil Blossom. Put a couple of drops of each oil in the palm of one hand, then rub hands together. Cup over nose and mouth and inhale deeply for three inhales/exhales. Add an affirmation if you want to activate your placebo effect.

For Internal use, please be cautious. Essential oils are very concentrated. Make sure they are pure oils without any additives and use just one drop in a full glass of water. A little goes a long way. If you can muscle test yourself, do that to find out if your body really wants oils internally or if externally would be better. Be aware there is confusing information out there regarding the internal use of essential oils. Some MLM companies count on individuals signing up with them and using vast amounts of quantity during a month and one way to get people to use more is to get them to take them internally. I’m not saying that never taking an oil internally is correct. I’m saying, please don’t use lots of oils internally without understanding how they might affect you because if one drop of peppermint oil contains the equivalent of almost 30 cups of peppermint tea, I don’t know if your body really wants that very often.

For supporting Emotional Healing using your Limbic System (which is my favorite way to use essential oils) you can try combinations or single oils. Many well-known top essential oil companies have blends specifically for this purpose.
